How to loosen curls?

So I have curly hair right, and I was wondering what are some ways to make it more wavy? like to loosen the curls a bit. Other than using relaxers, straightening irons, hair blowers or anything that I need to do in the saloon. I just need something easy and that doesn’t involve in paying a lot

Starighten it only a little! Or when its wet, and less curly, put gel in it(thats what I do) or when its wet put it in braids over night, than in the morning hair spray it. Or put it in braids let it dry and go over the braids with a hair straightner so they waves of the braids stay. Im not sure how most of these will work with really curly hair buti know the gel one does!

I have EXTREMELY curly hair. Unfortunately, I used to resent it and I tried straightening it every day. I agree with you that straightening is probably not the way to go. I experimented with a few things, hopefully some will help you like they helped me. At night I put it in a low ponytail at the base of my neck, using a strong hair band, which loosens the curls near the middle of my hair, although if you try a bun it tends to loosen it out near the ends as well. During the day I use a crocodile clip and leave it in the whole day and it can sometimes loosen them for the day after. Some of my older relatives also have very curly hair and they used jumbo rollers since they had longer hair and left them in over night after washing their hair.
