First, you are 16 years old. I’m sorry to tell you that happens with 16-year-old boys. It will get better with age. If you’re still having the problem when you’re 18, then see a doctor.

Second, wearing a condom reduces the sensation for the guy, and usually helps you last a LOT longer. (But you should already be wearing a condom, for many other more important reasons.)

Third, most of us adults will tell you that sex should best be saved for long-term, mutually-committed relationships. I’ve raised 31 foster-boys in my lifetime, and believe me I have heard these questions before. I know how you younger men feel about it but, trust me, your emotions are not quite mature enough to deal with the emotional repercussions of being sexually active.

Enjoy the girls, of course, and if you decide to be sexually active, always, always, wear a condom. In most cities you can get them free – call your local United Way or local AIDS foundation, and get a big bag of ‘em for free. Be safe.
