How to I join a band?

I have this dream of becoming lead singer of a rock band (or at least like the old Avri Lavigne) but I don’t know anybody who has a band and I get stagefright just singing in front of 3 people.

I know some people who got discovered by youtube,myspace and facebook…get your friends to help u

just get some of your friends together, even if they can’t play, (u only need like 3 or so chords to write a song) and just jam, its easier singing with a band. I used to get stage fright to lol, but you just faget about it after a while

Get some friends who know how to play instruments or hold auditions. You’ll need at least a lead singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer. As far as your stagefright goes - you’ll get over that. Practice singing in front of large crowds. Don’t even act like they’re there. Act like it’s just you and your friends out there having fun, which is exactly what it will be. You’ll see it gets easier as you go. If your band won’t make it big, don’t worry. There’s always a chance you could try again.
