how to go from bleach blonde to chesnut red

Hi, I bleach all of my hair although I only to the roots as it grows its still damaging and I LOVE red hair but I’ve had bad expeirences as they always go way too dark and Im very fair. I know I need a filler should I have my hairdresser mix gold with the a level 6 chestnut coppery red ?? Id like to come out between a level 6 and 7? I also was thinking of doing tests strands first as I cant afford mistakes Also what about when my hair grows in Im naturally a level 6-7 golden brown with a lot of chestnut will this color stay even ?? thank you, annie
