Lern more about your curls. They seem to me like corkscrew curls. If you learn how to work with them, thy may turn out gorgeous and cute!

To define and get soft curls, use a sulfate-free shampoo (that means no sodum laureth sulfate, ammonium laurel sulfate, or any kind of sulfate! It provides the lather in the shampoo but just dries out your hair. It doesn’t do it any good). They may be hard to find in regular drugstores, but if you have a Trader Joe’s grocery store nearby, they have them available there. Or if you have a health store nearby, they probably offer shampoos with natural ingredient. If you can’t find a sulfate-free shampoo, just clean with conditioner. It has been proven that scrubbing can clean just as well!

After your take a shower, blot your curls. If you don’t already know what that is, look up on your fav search engine what it is and they may give you a more accurate definition than I can give you. After you blot it with your hands, put some curly hair mousse into your hand (I recommend Tressemme extra hold mousse). Move your hand through you hair and shake it around, making it messy. Spray it with Tressemme hair spray of the same line. and don’t touch your hair until it dries. Then add cute clips or headbands.

I know this may not be the answer that you’re looking for, but I just want you to realize that curly hair is a gift. Many women want curly hair, but, lucky you! You were born with it naturally.

Good luck from a fellow curly girl!
