How to get my hair dark brown instead of black?
ok.. I dyed my hair yesterday hoping it would come out dark brown but I left the die in too long and now its black. I want it dark brown but I have no clue how to do that. plus I’m really pale and this black hair makes me look white as paper! I just wanted dark brown:(

I have dark brown hair naturally but I dye black, lol. When you get the color you like, apply it and wash it out as soon as possible. For example, if the instructions say leave in for 20 minutes, wash it out a little sooner. The longer you leave the dye in, the more dark/deep it will get. Now hopefully a cosmetologist will come around who knows more than I do! Take care. :-) -S
