How to block when *60 didn't work?

How do you block incoming calls? AT&T wants $4.99 a month to block up to 15 lines but I don’t want to pay $4.99 a month (maybe indefinitely?) to block one number. I did the 60 thing where I dialed 60 and waited to be prompted but I got the check your number & dial again msg, then did *60+0+#+ ph number +# then the call key but got same msg. Several versions later, same msg. Any advice?

I think you’re thinking of *67 where you dial that and then a number you want to call, but you dont want them to know its you calling.

Either way, it seems like if you really want a number blocked you’re going to have to pay the monthly fee.
