How to balance school, friends, and dance?

I have been dancing for ten years, I am 14 and love to do what I do.. Its getting really hard though. This was my first year of high school, and with home work and friends, it was really hard for me to balnce the three and stay on top of it all. I want to keep dancing but its getting to be to much with 8 classes a week (thats on average 2 hours a night!!) I dont have that kind of time any more, but I want to keep dancing. How can I keep inproving on what I looove (dance) and have time for school and friends still?

I know exactly how you feel.

It’s your first year of high school and you think you can’t balance it all, but you can. Each year it will become easier and easier, and soon you’ll be like the rest of us, going into senior year and wondering why it worried you so much.

It may be difficult right now and you may be exhausted, so take a break for a while. Eventually you will find balance, and you’ll regret it then if you stopped doing something you loved/

Answer #2

I take dance classes, do school plus college classes and I’m only going to be a junior in high school, hang out with friends and family, take care of my family, and have a job. If I can do it you can too.

Answer #3

if your good at dancing, stick to it! because many people just give up when they’re in your position, so stay with something you can make a career out of! and you can always make more friends later down the track…
