How to back up Star Wars Empire at War?

Hi well I’ve tried back uping my Empire at War so if I lose it or its gets strached beyond repair I can still use it. well I burn it then I test it to see if it works and it comes up with a error saying “Please insert orignal disk instead of a backup (1000) does anyone know how to burn Empire at War and able to play it after?

wait leyt me rephjraze the questions sorry I backup the game (new part) install it but when I go to play it it comes up with “Error: Please insert orignal disk instead of a backup (1000)”

if you open the disk will double clicking the setup.exe run?

I’ve tried usin two burners Nero 7 Start Smart and BlindWrite

what are you using to burn it?

I use imgburn and dont have any problems: www.imgburn.com

what happens if you open the disk and double click setup.exe?

what your using to burn it might be screwing up autorun in some way..
