How should I fix this tattoo?

I have a snake tattoo with a dragon on the other side of it, and the snake came out horrible. It looks like a little kid drew it and Im like embarassed of it. The girl did not stencil it and she drew it herself. Its only about 3” inches long. Any ideas if it would be possible to go over it with something else? The colors are green/yellow. Which colors would be able to cover it?

reds and blue and purple and do a butterfly or somthing. I mean you know something you like, or represents you. like the dragon represents hate and the butterfly represents love or somthing you know like something peaceful or cute or even zen
