How much should I eat in a day?

I always feel like a pig, because I have a lot of snacks throughout the day. But my Parents think that I’m barely eating anything, so I’m really comfused. So I wanted to see whether I was eating too much, or not enough.

Could somebody tell me what a thirteen year old girl should eat in a day?

I t depends on your height and current weight.

multiply your weight in pounds by 11 = your basic calorie needs (what your body burns just to exist)

Now multiply that number by 1.6 = Resting Metabolic Rate (what you burn factoring in daily activities)

To maintain your current weight, that is how many calories you should be taking in daily. (note that isn’t factoring in exercise.)
