How many calories should I consume?

I’m 15 years old 5”2 and weight 131 And I’m a girl How much caloires should I eat a day to loose weight?

Answer #1

dont be so focused on calories as this is not the thing you should be wtaching if you want I can give you the whole list of things to not eat rather than calories. things like sat fat intake hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup are just some things to avoid rather than calories

Answer #2

I would recommend looking at what you are eating and how much exercise you are getting not the actual calories. If you are very active and eating healthy food than you will start to shed weight. If you are sitting at the pc all day and eating McDonald’s…well it’s a life style change you should be considering.

Answer #3

The daily guideline limit for a female is about 2000 calories. You do not need to reach 2000 on the dot. But somewhere around 1000 - 1500 would be idealistic.

For men I think it is about 2500.

Answer #4

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.
