How Long Should My Skate Width Be?

I have my length and width put in cm. I’m looking to buy Mission Hockey Skates for the first time. Help?

Unless you’re an expert, the standard board size is fine. Then after you get good, you can / should try a few different size boards to see if they are easier and or harder to use.

For example: Tricks which involve spinning the board are easier with a narrow board, while those that involve keeping the board on an even plane will be harder with a narrow board.
