How do you think I should handle this tax problem?

Well, my parents-in-law are just now saying that if my husband doesn’t get a job by the end of this year, that they was going to claim our daughter on taxes the next time we file. They also said that if they do claim her, that we (me and my husband) wasn’t getting any part of the money at all. They talked like they’ve been paying for everything when it comes to my daughter, but I know it’s not true. My family spends more money on her than they do. They already have custody of my 3 yr old son and has been claiming him. But I had the idea to ask my sister to claim her on her taxes instead. I don’t have a job and I don’t know if I’ll one by the end of this year. I don’t know if my husband will have one either. What do you think about this situation and how do you think I should handle it?

I think the fact that he’s unemployed is irrelevant - he still needs to claim his dependents.

Why do the grandparents think they have the right to claim your children? Unless they have custody of them, they can’t claim them as dependents.
