How do you tell someone they are annoying?

That’s pretty tough. I have a friend that is a little on the annoying side…she’s my friend and I love her dearly so I don’t want to tell her everyone thinks she’s kinda weird and can be super annoying so I understand where you’re coming from. What I’ve tried to do is lead her by my example. Like, if we’re out somewhere and we’re talking to someone I try to keep my answers short, give her a chance to talk and when she starts getting annoyingly long winded or starts not making any sense, I rein her back in a little by changing the subject or talking over her until she shuts up. LOL It sounds mean and overbearing, but I think it’s helped. I guess how you deal with it depends on the type of annoying someone is. Since you’re friend is very smart, maybe that’s why people find them annoying. Some smart people have the habit of constantly correcting everyone or telling them about things many people don’t understand. If you don’t think your friend is annoying, don’t worry about what everyone else thinks.
