How do you sing and play?
Okay, so lately I’ve been trying new things with my guitar. I’ve just tried out sweep picking, and have become pretty good at it, and now I’ve been trying to sing and play at the same time. I have been doing alright, I can sing and play You And Me by Lifehouse almost perfectly, but other things I just can’t get the hang of. Any tips or exercises that could help me out?
singing and playing are hard to do together try memorizing a song sing it while holding your instrument and ghost strumming then try playing the song after you get pretty good at that.
Just practice at it and you will improve. I’m the only exception to practice makes perfect. I’ve been singing Free Bird in the shower while playing a bar of soap and I’m still horrible.
I love That Song! Just practice heaps, I luckily picked it up quickly and I’m almost perfect, Just keep at it.
Practice, practice, practice. It took me years to get to where I could sing and play at the same time, and I still have a hard time doing it when the vocal timing doesn’t line up exactly with the music.
