How do you recover from hurting your hamstring?

Okay I was at football practice last week and I tried to run Full speed and boom I hurt my hamstring I don’t know what I did to it but It hurts now I haven’t iced it or anything but I do when I go to practice so what should I do?

Just rest it for a while, I have pulled muscles and tendans before and it takes a week or so to be ok. Just rest it and if it stays the same or gets worse see a doctor.
