How do you paint an xbox controller?

I want to paint my Xbox 360 controller some really pimp colors and I know how to do it. BUT every time I paint one it ends up being really sticky to use and not that fun to play with. How do you make it nice and glossy, but not sticky like the pro ones you buy at Target?

You could use nail varnish. It dries very well on fingernails, which would probably be similar to the surface of your XBOX controller. It may still take a while to dry, but it wouldn’t take that long. If you have one, you could use a hairdryer to dry the varnish quicker. But don’t hold it too close in case the varnish spreads all over. If you’re a guy and you’d feel awkward about getting nail varnish, when you’re getting the varnish you can say that you’re getting it for your cousin (or whoever you choose). =o)

after you spray whatever colors you’re going to do, sand it lightly with a 400 grit sandpaper. you can wet sand if you want, but don’t soak your controller. (obviously.) then put on a clear coat. do several thin coats, and let it sit for a day or 2 to really dry. after that, you should be living the dream. good luck.

Well the ones at target were’nt just painted they were moulded in a machine like that.
