how do you make a doughnut?

how do you make a doughnut? im tired of payin!!! the price is eithr to high, well for the good ones anyway…

Answer #1

What does a donut cost? $.50?

Donuts are deep fried so they are a hassle to make, especially one at a time.

If you want to make your own sweets you are much better off baking some muffins than frying donuts.

Answer #2

You need a deep fryer & canned biscuits. You take the biscuit, and poke a hole in the center. Put it in the deep fryer for 4 seconds on each side then take it out to cool and let the oil dry or drip off. Then put powdered sugar on it or desired frosting.

But I dont see why you wanna make them when you can just go to walmart and get a dozen for 4 bucks. Thats what? $.30 to $.35 each? You’ll be spending 3 times more than that on oil. Maybe you need a better diet if you’re going in debt on doughnuts. Eventually you’ll be going in debt on weight loss classes. lmao.

Answer #3

What the others said is true – you need a deep fat fryer to make doughnuts, so be prepared to spend $50 to $100 (plus the cost of fresh oil) to feed your doughnut cravings. But if you’re eating so many doughnuts that the cost of doughnuts is starting to have an impact on your budget, you need to either take a good, long look at your diet or work up a more realistic budget, because something is seriously out of whack.

Answer #4

find a good doughnut recipe on the internet- then you will need a deep fryer large enough to make a batch of doughnuts, or just a few at a time, you will need a dough squeezer that will squeeze your dough mixture out with the hole in the center.

squeeze a bit of dough into the deep fryer- let one side cook till it is golden brown- flip it over to cook the other side, take it out and drain it on some paper towels- sprinkle cinnamon and sugar or glaze on it and you have a doughnut.
