How do you lighten black hair?
I have medium brown hair naturally..and decided I wanted to go darker, to a dark dark brown. To make a long story short my wishes were not properly conveyed to my mother in law, who used to teach at a local hairdressing college..and I ended up with very black hair on top where it processed longer than the bottom. THe underside of my hair is the color that I would like the rest to be. How can I lighten my hair just a few shades so that it looks better with my skin tone? Would highlights make it looks lighter and more suitable for my skin, as well as less damaging?
u have to bleach it and then do the color you want it to be!!!
You’ll have to let it fade or bleach it and color it the color you want.
I appreciate the input but I think I’ll pass on that solution…
