okay so I'm part of generation why and I should know this stuff... but I was wondering is deleting history and cookies enough or is there anything else I should be wary of when deleting history? dw im not looking at naughty sights lol... just things that my dad would be like 'why are you doing that when you should be doing your homework?' lol, I took over his laptop but he still uses it now and then, and I get nervous every time he does
Well if you have Internet Explorer, you click on the icon on the icons bar ( the thing up top on your internet page where the back button is and stuff) that looks like a little clock with an arrow going around it. It will open a box on the left hand side of the screen with a list of all the sites that you've visited. It will have all the sites organized by days and weeks. you want to delete all the sites you've been on for the day, just right click the line that says "today" and click delete in the drop down box that pops up after you right clicked. Or you can just individually delete the sites that you've been on by right clicking on the ones that you wish to delete and click delete in the drop down box once again! Hope I helped!
Ok on the right side of the internet page there will be a tools icon click the dropdown arrow and click internet options and then when the window pops up you will see a header that says browsing history and you can click the button that says delete...
do you rekon it looks suss if all your history is deleted?? I cant be bothered to delete individual sites lol, but majority of what I look at doesnt really need to be deleted :P
If there is a star to add to favorites click on it and it will show favorites, feeds, and history click on history and right click and delete it
