How do you stop water from entering a cellar?
How do you stop water from entering a cellur? We just bought a new house and our cellur is filled with water. How do we stop this?
You must send for a bricklayer/mason/house-repairman there will be rainwater seepage through some wall or possibly though unlikely rising through the foundation, a do-it-yourself house repair manual might help you if you are knowledgeable
You might need sump pumps. You’ll have to call a plumber to assess exactly where the water is coming from…(is it coming up from the celler floor, or is it seeping thru the walls). He’ll be able to decide where precisely to place the pumps.
