How do tanning beds work?

How do they work? This may be a dumb question but I never actually got in one.

be aware that both tanning beds and the sun directly cause skin cancer and prematurely age your skin and face, just like sun exposure does as well as numerous other things the only safe tan is a FAKE tan one form a bottle, spay on, wipe, cream or can be smart and get a fake tan

okay well fist you lay down in this machine bed, and their are little lamps almost all inside the bed, top and bottom. you lay in it, and the lights go on in the bed, and a fan goes on to keep you cool. I go a lot, and its actually pretty fun to go inside one, it doesn’t get hot at all, if thats what you’re asking. once you start going a lot, you’ll get used to it.
