How do I stop growing?
I’m an 13 year old boy and I’m about 5.6 feet tall, and I’m still growing. I’m the tallest person in my class and there are other boys that are older than me.can some one help?
You’re perfectly normal. Boys grow in spurts, and those all don’t occur at the same time. Your friends should catch up with you in only a few months.
This will be your biggest growth spurt. You’ll continue to grow gradually until at least the age of 17. You will probably see a small growth spurt at about age 15, and perhaps an even smaller one about the time you turn 17.
It would be nice not to be the first boy having a growth spurt, but it is worse to be the last boy to have his growth spurt. You will find one or two of your friends who will not experience their growth spurt until age 15.
its normal at 13 youve only just began to go through puberty and you have many years of growing ahead of you right now youve probably went through a growth spurt and most girls go through a growth spurt before boys do but try to undertand that in a few years time more other people, especially the boys will have there growth spurt and catch up to you
Sorry kid, but it’s mostly genetics factor. Unfortunately, there’s really no way to stop growing, just wait it out.
Don’t feel bad. I’m thirteen and a girl, stand 5.8 and im the youngest in the seventh grade because of when by birthday is. I used to have the same concern but my mom said it’s because of genes. Are either of your parents tall? that could be part of your problem.
