Answer #1

if you want to prevent being grounded don’t talk to your parents if they ask you something just do short answers like yes, no or maybe and yeah like that and never be around them because if you are not around them and you dont talk to them then there is nothing to argue about.

Answer #2

How to prevent being grounded? Not doing stupid things. The reason you’re in this predicament is because you did something wrong. If parents don’t punish you, you’ll think you can get away with doing these kinds of things. It’s no one elses fault that you ‘didn’t feel like doing anything’, but if that’s your excuse for your bad behavior then I guess everyone would be able to get away with being bad. You can always reschedule a date, and if you lose it. That sucks. Your fault. Gig, you can’t miss? You should’ve thought about that before you started acting ‘reckless’. All in all, whatever happens, I guess you didn’t feel like behaving. What goes around comes around. If you do something wrong, redeem yourself by serving time, or in your case staying home and delaying certain activities.

Answer #3

If you did something, if your acting like you can do whatever you want, then you shoulkd get grounded. Getting grounded, missing the things that you want is the punishment, you would no learn anathing otherwise. You might have a date, and a very important gig, but you should have tought of that before you made the choices you made.

xxjulixx said it superbly. It’s important to realize that there are consequences to your actions. Maybe next time, you will have some foresight.
