How do I make sure I stay safe on the Internet?

Just make it clear at the begining of conversations and on your profiles, that you are not interested in meeting anyone face to face, and you won’t be sharing any personal information. The pervs are most likely looking for an easy target, so don’t be one.

You need to keep any personal information that you have to yourself. Don’t ever!! give out any information about yourself and, if your going to be on sites like Myspace, or yahoo, I would suggest making your usernames anomymous. To stay safe on the internet, stay off of sites that could be harmful, and, if your going to continue to keep your myspace page, and someone wants to pry into your business, then I would also recomend blocking them if possible. That, also goes for yahoo messenger. Good luck.

yep, dont give out your full name or any other personal details, dont meet anyone, dont let the conversation lead to anything more than what freinds would talk about accept compliments, but sometimes older guys use this as a way to find out were you are…like they might try to send you a gift but you need to tell them yourt adress…dont the only full proof way is by not having those kind of accounts and profiles but seeing as so many people do, you need to be careful dont accept any gifts, or give them your nummber…they might say they just want to txt you or give you a birthday message, ect… you need to watch out for little ways that people can trick you, so pay attention to wear the convosations going! and definantly dont meet any of them at a local place or for a drink

Do not give your address, phone number or full name, unless you truly, truly know that person. AND DO NOT TALK TO WEIRDO PEOPLE who say things like ‘ oh your so beauitful ‘ ‘ I wish I could meet you in person ‘ ‘ Hey what is you name?’ I just want to get to know you’ YOU CANNOT TRUST ANYONE!! Espically if you are female.

ya same thain happen to me and I completely fliped the conversation and then they deleted me and I deled them off instent message.

dont give anyone any info about urself dont ever meet them and things like that
