how do I know if my pointe shoes are to tight
how do I know if my pointe shoes are to tight? I know they are suppose to be tight and hurt obviously but my toes are scrunched together…I havnt been on pointe for to long so I dont know a lot about the shoes fitting
if they dont feel comfortable
well anything that scrunches yout toes together is dangerouse and harmfull to your feet there should be at least 1cm of room inbetween the end of the shoes and your big toe so perhaps go half a size or a size up fdrom the shoe size you are now os course, if pointe requires you to wear uncomfortable shoes that are smaller than your regular size either ask if you can go up a size or make sure you wear comfortable shoes like uggboots or runners for all the time your not wearing the other shoes that will at least minimise some damage youll do to your feet and toes
