Okay so there is this guy that I have always liked and I think he likes me too but im not very shure he always looks at me and smiles and he steels my stuff and brings them back the next day but all this was 3 years ago because I moved to a different schol but I still kinda like him and everytime we talk he always talks about how good friends we were and that he wishes I would have never moved. I think what you have is a really good friend who misses you. If things were different and you still lived close to each other he may want more, but I think he does like you and misses you being around.
