How do I keep my eye liner from smearing?

All the time my eye liner smears I usually go all around my eye but I tried experimenting to see if it was because I was putting it in the corners that caused the problem and it still smeared. Is it possibly the brand of eye liner? Hopefully you people can help me!

if your constanly touching your eyes that will smear it it could also be the brand go to a mall, and test differnt eyeliners on your hand, then smear them pick the one thats hareder to smear also after you apply eyeliner you can cover it with a bit of the same coloured eyeshadow that way its less likely to smuge (when you dont touch it) and will stay on for longer

Well the eyeliner I have is NYC and it does not smear unless you have been doing a lot of physical exercise and if you are sweating a lot.

I use Fullday to stop my eyeliner from smudging. I was given a sample at hair salon and I have used it ever since. It goes on clear over any eye liner and your eyeliner stays in place; you only have to apply your liner one time…I love it, it’s awesome…www.fulldayliner.com

Most likely the brand - I use AVON eyeliner and I never have smearing problems.
