I’m African American with medium dark brown hair, how do I get my vivacious red hair dye to look intense like the picture on the box?
red dye doesnt show up properly unless your hair is blonde so you need to bleach your hair to as blonde as you can get it bleaching ruins your hairs healthy,strength and shine so its bestto et it profesionally bleached then once its blonde, dye it with the red dye
try dying your hair over and over again wilth brighter shades of red til you get the color you want
You need to bleach the hair you want red before you dye it. Red on brown/black will not work.
