How do I get itunes to count what I listen to on my ipod?

Sometimes when I listen to songs on my ipod and I connect it to my computer my play counts don’t change but sometimes it will work? and I’m not sure what I’m doing differently each time? How can I get my songs to always get counted on itunes? once connected?

Hmm, not sure why it won’t work then, sorry… Anyway Last.fm will count your plays for you, might be worth a try. :)

I do listen to the songs the whole way through and no I do not use Last.FM..
