How do I get back a guy who won't get with me cause of his brother?

Well I really like this one guy, Joey, and he likes me back, but I wasnt so sure. I saw his brother, Kevin, one day who I found cute, and since I didnt know that Joey liked me back, I started talking to Kevin. I had no interest in Kevin, and I really really liked Joey, but then Kevin started liking me. Joey saw that his brother really liked me so he backed off and doesnt like me anymore. My friend talked to Joey for me, and asked if he still likes me and he said no, but he really did like me until I started talking to his brother because he doesnt wanna mess things up between me and kevin. So pretty much, hes backed off and even told her that if I stopped talking to his bro, he still wouldnt try again because his bro would still like me. So I was wondering if his bro stopped liking me, do you think Joey woud try again? Cause I really like this kid and apparenty he really wanted to get with me too, but the whole brother thing messed it up. What should I do to get Joey back? I’d do anything pretty much. Help.
