how do I find songs before they get on the radio?

so I can be one step ahead of everyone else. know any good websites, yo?

May sound retarded but I usually go on wikipedia type in the artist name. scroll down to where they have a list of their albums click on their recent one. look for the album with the year 2010 near it’ click it, scroll down and you’ll see a list of their songs from their album the ones highlighted in blue are the ones that are already being played on the radio. you can check out the rest on youtube to see if you like it.

just search around, go to band’s myspaces look up different bands. or if you like an artist get their album and listen to songs there cause most of the songs will become singles

check the itunes new songs/new albums or like top 200 theres music on there that isn’t on the radio yet usually

The best way would be to live in an area that has a good live-music scene, like New York, Seattle, Portland, or Houston. Those people that are truly ahead of the music game are those that have been watching those bands for years before they get ‘’discovered.’’
