How do I edit my videos?

I want to upload my videos but want to make it wayy cooler :) I want to put background music in it and cut some part off how do I do it?? thanx!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and it comes with Windows Movie Maker. With Windows Movie Maker you can edit your home movies. You can cut, add sounds or music, and add still pictures. You can also add some really cool video transitions from one scene to the next. If you don’t have Windows Movie Maker you may want to try out VideoThang a free video editor. I have used VideoThang to add music and effects to my video then I uploaded it you YouTube. www.videothang.com

Windows movie maker and imovie will be good for you. You can edit videos in clips and add background music. Considering somtimes it crashes,(especially movie maker) ArcSoft ShowBiz is a good choice. In it you can record yor voice and add the voice-over to your videos, in corperated with some audios, so you can merge different audio tracks together. Why not try it for free on its website?
