How do I convince my dad to let me have a friend sleepover?

heres what you do, tell him “ dad, if there was a time to trust me this would be it.I promise, if we mess up or do anything wrong I’ll never ask to have a friend over again” its worth a shot.

I doubt seriously if this statement truly describes your dads thoughts and intents.

More than likely, he thinks you are so worthy… that he is trying very hard to protect you, from outside influences, that he thinks may be harmful for you. You would be supprised at how truly wise, some parents are, and how much they really care for their children, and… how many children, truly wish they had a wise, caring, loving parent, that had their best interest at heart.

One day, before you know it, you will be in his shoes, trying to protect your daughter, from things or situations, or persons, that might be harmful to her, and believe me, you will need all the coping skills that you can possibly have to raise her right. Her future will be in your hands. when this happens, things will take on a whole new perspective.
