They sit them down and very politely try to explain them the situation. In no way do they make the girl feel at fault or say unecessary things that would make the girl feel bad. If you explain it in a way to leave as a mutual decision, things will be fine. They never raise their voice at the girl or list out their flaws. You want to keep it short and simple without being vague. They do not call the girl and break up with her because then they run the risk of being hung up on. The biggest thing to remember is that if you really liked a girl and she needed to break up with you, you would want to be treated with respect. If you honestly do not like her, its unfair for you to put off the break off. Keep things reasonable and polite and understandable. You could try saying something like “At this point in my life, I feel as though this relationship is not what I want.” After you might want to compliment her, saying to her that you still think that she is beautiful, or no matter who you date she will still have the most beautiful eyes youve ever seen. Try to leave it with a friendship and dont burn any bridges. Dont say the line “we could still be friends…” girls dont usually go for that.
