How did rascal flatts get their name?
They were at place playing before they were famous and didn't have a name. They told the audience to think of something and tell them after the show. Some guy came up and told them that he had a high school band called Rascal Flatts and that they could use it if they wanted to.
It was suggested to them by their piano player, as that was the name of a band he was in, in high school.
