How come most Americans don't have Friendster accounts?

I know one of the many former CEO’s of friendster…and yep, they’re an American company.

They do have more than one American member, I’m sure. From my limited understanding of the history of the site & business…they turned down a buyout offer from Google a few years ago.

Very few businesses would even think of turning down a buyout offer from a company like that. To me, it’s indicative of something being not 100% right…but, perhaps that’s just me.

I actually have an account. I made it a few months before I even heard of Myspace…

And now that I know FunAdvice, I don’t even use that :)

Friendster is the original MySpace. Only Asians use it.
