How can I turn this idea into an actual story?

Okay the title is wrong. I was going to ask… Is this a good story idea? Jaylen, the eldest brother, and Maybe, the eldest sister, are both wanting the role in a hit TV show, Celebrity Practical Joke’d. Where whoever one, got to be the one choosing the joke to play. But there was only one spot open. Jaylen and Maybe have the directer to set up a competition for them. Well?

maybe, it all depends where you take it and your style of writing. try it and see how it turns out. if it turns out well then that’s great, if not it was just practice for a future masterpiece. :)
