How can I repair my mp3 player after I washed it?

Ok well I forgot to check my pockets before I did laundry and I accidently washed my mp3 and then it went through the dryer is there some way I can fix it or am I just out of luck?

Water is usually OK with electronics, as long as it’s switched off. If it was switched on, then it’s most probably broken beyond repair.

If that is possible, open the case and dry the inside for several days. Then cautiously look wether you find any spots where it’s corroded. If it’s OK, reassemble it and try if it works.

dang. I thinkbyour outta luck. I once dropped mines into the tub of water when I was cleaning my tub out and it started to tweak and well…she went to a better place. yeah so I think your outta luck. srry

The same thing happened with my phone. How long was it in water? If it was more than half an hour then water might have damaged the circuits.Battery might have also been damaged. Dont take risk. Take it to a repair shop and ger it reapired. As soon as any electronic gadgets falls in water, take it out and open it and make it dry as soon as posseble, it will work for sure. But if the device remains wet for a long time, it will get damaged.

Try putting it in a bowl of rice over night. It worked for my iPhone
