How can I make a dog pen cheap?

I cant find a baby play yard anywhere under $20 and I dont really wanna spend $70 and up! so I wanted to know if theres a way I can make one cheap by going to home depot or something? I heard of x-pens it is some fencing type but I don’t know how it all works? any ideas anything would help thanks

She is a puppy and her breed is a yorkie so she stays tiny I wanted something inside for her while I am at school but my mom will check on her and play with her but I want one so she cant chew on anything

An Xpen will work with a small dog, but it won’t work for a large dog…so how big is this dog? X pens aren’t cheap either.

You aren’t going to find anything for under $20 for any dog…unless you want to make pen out of old pallets…which would look pretty tacky.

how big is your dog? you could probably get free off-cuts of wood from factories and building sites. then just buy nails and make a cheap pen?

Go in the back of grocery stores and find bread racks. you can connect as many as you want and make a pen for less than 2 dollars.

Ifyour dog will be indoors and she is small, may I recommend a small dog gate that cost 12.95 at the fleet farm where I stay. if not that then connect some 2-by -4s with some screws then use chicken wire if you have any and you got your self a homemade fence or pen.
