How can I help my best friend?

I have a best friend who keeps attempting suicide because he hates himself and his life and everything I try and say to him to make him think twice doesnt work, I’ve walked in on him trying to hang himself once and its just really upsetting knowing that anytime soon he could die, when I love him I tell him everything, please help because I really dont know how I can help him before its too late!

Guy I don’t know . Lol but I guess tell someone? And tell him how much he means to you and that if you lose him yu’ll cry forever . And just be there for him dont just say itll be okay , cause thats bs .

TELL SOMEONE GET HIM PROFFESSIONAL HELP I was almost that way… I suffered from depression, but I saw a therapist, talked about medicine with a psychiatrist, and that helped. he may need to go to a day-hospital program that will help him, but deff. I recommend professional help.

Get the movie “The Bridge.” It is a documentary on people that’ve committed suicide on the Golden Gate Bridge and one that survived. You should watch it first and decide; I don’t want to give him any new ideas of what to try next.
