How can I get her expensive stuff I CANT AFFORD?

my friend keeps getting me expensive stuff for my birthdays, parties etc. and I get her none because I cant afford expensive gifts a lot. and if I get her cheap things , she would think im cheap and cant afford. WHAT DO I DO?!!

Sell the nice stuff she gives you and buy her a gift

if you cant find anything on time…tell her its getting shipped to your house so you have some extra time to try to find something…

Get her what you can afford and then also give her something that comes one hundred percent from you like a poem, a drawing, a song or something else that you made. You can also “give” her your time and invite her to do something that involves taking her somewhere special for the day but doesn’t cost you a fortune (ex.: a beautiful park, an art exhibition, a free concert). If you really are feeling bad about not being able to give her more expensive gifts then explain it to her as you give her the gifts. Tell her that you wish you could afford more but you hope that your original gifts will make up for the lack of material gifts.

Being cheap and not being able to afford things are two different things. If she’s your friend then she’ll understand that. And yes, just make something for her.

make her things or tell her you can’t afford something or maybe take her to dinner at a resturaunt. maybe give her a night where she feels like a princess by going places with her and making her feel like she’s the only one.
