How can I convince my dad for a tragus ring?

I have really wanted to get my tragus pierced for a while now. the only problem is my dad won’t reason with me. he thinks that it isn’t safe, and that I have too many piercings. both of my parents think it is unsafe because you can’t get it done at the claires store in the mall, but you have to go to a tattoo/piercing place. I told them that that is because they aren’t liscenced to do it at claires. and I honestly don’t think I have that many piercings. my ears are doubled, and my cartalige is pierced on the one. that’s it. he won’t reason with me, and he won’t even let me talk. I told them I was going to pay for it. I even printed off information about it and the safety, and he wouldn’t look at it. he’s pretty set in his way. another thing I don’t understand is, originally when my mom and I went to get it done, my dad had no idea. I’m contemplating just having my brother who is 18 to take me.. I’m 17 btw. please help! any advice would be great. thanks.

I got mine done when I was 14. Its safe with all the proffesional stuff just tell them stuff like ‘ oh I have this many piercings what will one more make a difference’ etc id say go with letting your brother take you!!they probably wont notice if you get it done anyway!

you need to tell your dad that the people at the mall are idiots they dont have a liscence, they have NO training, they have no ide what there doing as well as that they use the gun.. and that things id horrible and full of other peoples germs. its neenm stabbed into hundreds of different peoples ears with so much as a wipe down to clean the disgusting thing. the mall is the WORST and most dangerouse place you could go to get a peircing try and get that through his head…he needs to know that! the tattooist ones are safe they have a lot of expeirience and know what there doing they know what could go wrong, were to avoid, ect

wait until your 18, then you can do it. be lucky you have the piercings you have, most parents don’t even allow that. I’m sure you will be in trouble if you get your brother to take you. also, it’s pretty selfish bc your parents will be mad at your brother too. that isn’t fair to him.

just stick with what you have, you don’t need so many. they will take away from your pretty face.

Not sure were urfrom but here in the UK you can get most peircings done at the age of 16
