How: can exercise get rid of blackheads?

My question is: can exercise get rid of blackheads?because I have a couple of blackheads on my chin and a few on my forehead and yes I do exfoliate and wash my face 2x’s a day and I do a mask 2x’s a week.. But I dont really exercise so I was wondering if that would help my blackheads?

Ok… Over washing your face causes your skin to over produce the oils that cause blackheads. You should cut back to washing your face once a day and in a week or two your skin oils will level back out and your skin won’t me over producing the oil, causing blackheads. Exfoliate every other day so you don’t over scrap your skin off, which further increases your skins oil production because it can’t hold moisture from being over exfoliated. To actually answer your question, it’s not the exercise that gets rid of blackheads, its the sweating. Granted, sweating CAN clog pores and cause blackheads, but only if your dirty and don’t bath after you sweat (I.e. my nasty brother). So, cut back on the washing, definately cut back on the exfoliating, deal with greasy skin till it resets itself, exercise for your health and bath afterwards, and don’t wear full-face makeup. Eye-liner, mascara, lipstick, and a TINY amount of blush if you really need it is fine though.

Exercise will not help to get rid of blackheads at all. Blackheads are normal for young people.. I am 16, I got them until I was like 14 I think, but loads of my mates are still getting them now! There are two reasons that I can think of which could be why you are getting blackheads:

  1. You don’t eat healthy, meaning have the odd bit of chocolate and crisp or cake and pizza or what ever, but have fruit and vegetable as well and drink plenty of water!
  2. It could just be your hormones, meaning you cant do anything about it.

Eating oils does not make you more prone to blockheads. That is a myth. Sweat, besides cooling a person down, is one the bodies ways of removing toxins. When you sweat the bacteria and what-have-you are “cleaned out” along with the toxins. on the other hand wearing sunscreen can clog pours.
