Use two RCA cables.

One will go from the audio INPUT of the equalizer to the tape or auxiliary OUTPUT of the stereo receiver/amplifier.

The other cable will go from the audio OUTPUT of the equalizer to the tape or auxiliary INPUT of the stereo. (If you used the tape output for the first cable just make sure you use the tape input as well).
