How can I tease my hair?

I really dont think I teased my hair right. errr can somoen please help me. school starts in 8 days and I want to have tesased hair, you know the emo look. so please help me.this is what my hair looked liek when I tried (the pic). I want it to be big but I dont want it to look bad :( please help.

Go watch some tutorials on YouTube.

o, haha I see the people on youtube do it then I try and I mess up :/ so I was about to jsut put it in pig tails :P and I saw urs to :P
