How to handle liking him when I can't move on?

So I’ve liked this guy FOR SOO LONG now. He’s my friend and eveything and he doesnt see me as anything else, although he has liked me before but I think he’s over that. I’ve gotten to know him A LOT more this year and he is THE guy I want. It makes me sooo SAD and JEALOUS when he’s talking bout him liking other girls, when I really just want him talkin about liking me. I’ve been waiting sooo long and I can’t move on and I don;t want to give up. Any adviice?
