Help me understand

Will someone please help me better understand te meanings of the following sayings: “Loving Someone is watching them die.” “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial” “Positivety killed them all. So we buried them. But it brought them back to life.Optimism made them frustrated. So they quit. But it brought them back to life. and one simple smile tied them all together once separated by ignorance or naviety or whatever it may have been. but now they all work together for something bigger than they could ever imagine.”

I think, but I’m not sure that “ loving someone is watching them die” means that sometimes if you love them, you’ll do whats best and let them go do whatever they need to do.
