How to get over my crush's death?

My friend James who I had a huge crush on died when he was working on a drilling rig. A pole fell on his head which killed him instantly. He was only 19 and I was 14 at the time but I’m 15 now. I was wondering how do I get over his death? I don’t want to completely forget about him just him passing away.

I’m sorry hun that’s terrible. Right now he is in a better place, and when he died you didn’t say “bye” you said “see ya later” because one day you will see him again. Don’t forget, but live each moment of your life with happiness and spread love throughout the world, for James.

Write poems about the good times you had and the bad times too, write about his death and cry about it, cry until you cant stop crying and then eventually you wont be able to cry, just write how you feel keep him alive in your heart but let him pass on, I write all the time and it works just start writting eventually you won’t be able to stop and then when you reread the piece you will see how good it sounds, or you can write and then throw it away or burn it but I wouldnt do that in case you want to look at it in a couple years.
